The workshop

A bike shop run by riders, with one rule: we only sell the gear we'd fit to our own bikes.

We started in a damp lock-up with two work stands, a parts wall and a shared frustration: too much cycling kit is sold by people who don't ride. So we built the opposite — a shop where every product on the shelf has been bolted on, ridden hard and signed off before it earns a listing.

How it started

The shop grew out of years of fixing friends' bikes at the weekend and getting tired of recommending gear we couldn't actually stand behind. Catalogues were full of products that looked the part online but rattled loose, leaked in the rain or wore out in a season. We wanted a shorter, honest list instead.

So the rule was simple from day one: nothing goes on the shelf until someone here has ridden with it. A light has to survive a wet winter commute. A bag has to stay dry and quiet over rough ground. A pedal has to keep clipping in when it's caked in mud. If it fails, it doesn't make the cut.

Today we work with a small set of manufacturers who share that approach to durability and traceability. We keep the range tight on purpose — a few genuinely good options in each category beats a wall of choices that all look the same.

The workshop today

We pack and dispatch from the same workshop we test in. Orders placed by early afternoon on a working day ship the same day, and every bike-critical item — helmets, locks, lights — is checked by hand before it goes in the box. That rhythm matters: it's the difference between gear that arrives ready and gear that arrives as a problem.

We carry helmets, lights, hydration, carry, pedals, drivetrain parts, workshop tools, apparel and the accessories that make a bike yours — chosen so a commuter, a weekend roadie and a trail rider can all kit out here.

Values

01

Ridden before it's sold

Every product earns its place on a real ride, not a spec sheet. If it doesn't survive our own commutes and trails, it never reaches the shelf.

02

Built to last a season and beyond

We favour gear that wears slowly and can be serviced, not replaced. A two-year warranty backs every product because we expect it to last far longer.

03

Honest advice over upsell

We'd rather point you to the €30 part that fixes your bike than the €300 one you don't need. Straight answers, every time.

From test ride to doorstep

Sourcing

We seek out manufacturers who care about durability and traceability, then request samples of anything that looks promising for the range.

Testing

Each sample goes onto a bike and into real rides — wet commutes, long days, muddy trails — until we know how it holds up over weeks, not minutes.

Curating

Only the products that pass make the shelf. We keep a few strong options per category rather than an overwhelming wall of near-identical kit.

Packing & shipping

We check bike-critical items by hand, pack them carefully and dispatch within 48 hours, from the same workshop where we test everything.
